During my second load of laundry, the dryer stopped getting hot. Any ideas why? The dryer is approx. 6-7yrs old. It is a kenmore model # 110.88752791.

We'll need more information on the type of dryer it is. What brand is it? About how old? Most importanly, is it gas or electric?

I apologize, I didn't even see where you mentioned the brand and age in your original post, but alas, we still need to know if its gas or electric.

I see in your other thread that it is electric.

In that case, lets start with the simple. I would check the element. Its most likley the element, high limit, or thermostat. But leaning towards the element. While you tear the dryer down, make sure you clean the lint out from underneath the dryer. Lint build up in that chamber can cause an element to overheat and possibly fail.

Also, just as a tip, I would keep the followups in a single thread on the board, this will elliminate confusion about the different questions.
