    Child support modification
My ex-husband is having trouble paying the court ordered child support. I know he can ask for a modification and actually get it lowered. I'm at the point where I can take care of my kids without his support money but he needs to be responsible for them somehow. I want to help him get the order modified so in the case it is lowered, he will be able to pay consistently.

I live in California and the support was ordered in California. He is in the military and he is domiciled in Florida (home of record). I know he has to have the order modified here in California, what's the easiest way for him to do that?

Below is a link for CA for a self-help center and appropriate forms.

Please read the link accordingly and you should be able to file for an Agreed Modification of Support.
