    Hello ok:

Rules are run by your state, so there's 50 different sets of them... Are you saying that a sex offender couldn't go into, say a 7/Eleven if there were kids in there?? Nahhh. That can NEVER be policed.

By the way, what is your question?

    Hi, okrsutherland!

As already pointed out, the laws will vary depending on the state, and I will add, even depending on the particular country to which your post might be concerning.

If you're having trouble finding information about which you're concerned, it would help us to know more specifics about your concern and also a location, such as a state or country.

    Thanks!

Google it. There are hundreds if not more of websites that are devoted to the registry and notification of sex offenders, also on Laws per state. I am not going to go find you a link for every single state because that would be a waste of time.

For example if you lived in Michigan like I do.
Google "sex offender laws in Michigan" and you'll get tons of hits.

    Good Luck
