Chuck and Dana agree to meet in CHiago for the weekend. Chuck leaves the airport at noon traveling north at 200 mph. Dana leaves the same airport at 3:00 pm traveling south at 240 mph. At what time will they be 1920 miles apart?

    It's relative velocity problem.

    1. Find the distance covered by Chuck when Dana starts, that is the distance the does after travelling for three hours (12.00 to 3.00)

    2. Find the velocity of Chuck relative to Dana.

    3. Calculate the distance that needs to be covered after 3.00. (1920 miles - [ans to 1.)

    4. With the relative velocity from 2. you can find the time required for them to cover the rest of the remaining distance from 3.

    I hope it helped! :)
