Adding a laundry room to my home
In my home, the washer and dryer are located in the kitchen. I would like to build a small laundry room directly off the kitchen. Currently there is a brick patio that is not level where I would like to put the addition. How do I build a concrete slab over the brick to support the addition? How do Iget started? Is this the correct way I should be supporting the new addition I want to build?

No concrete on top of the bricks. There will be building codes in nearly every corner of the world so call your building department first. A concrete slab needs to be dug out, gravel poured and leveled, vapor abrrier and then reinforced concrete formed. What is you homes current foundation, try to match

Actually start talking to Tom long before you poor a slab since your drains will likely need to be below the slab, maybe supply too.
