96 Dodge 1500 Air and Heater Doesn't Work when Excelerating
The heater and air conditioner doesn't work on my truck when I excelerate. The fan either stops or just blows very little. Once I let off the excelerator, it works fine. Any ideas why and what I need to do?

My 94 Jeep GC does the same thing. I found out that this is normal as the engine needs the extra power to properly run the vehicle. I first noticed this in the summer months when I'd go up a hill the a/c wouldn't pump out cold air and I thought my a/c was broken. Nope. It was doing it's normal thing. Your Dodge is no different.
