If my mom marries her boyfriend will I be a dillenger?
My mom has been really seriously with this guy, she told me she might want to marry him. He's not a bad guy but I don't want anything to do with him and I don't want to lose my last name, it's my identity and I only want to give it away to a future husband.
I'm 16, am I legally able to contest having another last name?
Is it possible to adopt kids from another marriage if you marry the mother?
Do they have to keep the new fathers last name?
    Help :(

Agree, just because mom remarries it has no effect on you, you are not his daughter either, step daughter.

And to add to what's been said - yes, you can be adopted by the stepfather.

I have read your other posts - why don't you want to be involved with this boyfriend?

Thanks ^_^ that puts my mind at ease.
To answer your question I don't want anything to do with him because he acts like an idiot, is rude and constantly in people's face but he's such a doof about it that obviously no one but me finds it offending... Don' get me wrong, he's a nice guy in general terms and he doesn't mean most of what he does but point is soon as I hit 18 I am out of here (not to mention I don't want to raise two more little brothers with the little bro and sis I already have and we live in a 3 bedroom trailer -_- so needless to say it'd be more than crowded)

Name of movie about a WWII British nurse who marries her patient [ 1 Answers ]

A movie from the '70s or '80s about a British nurse who takes care of a US soldier during WWII -- can't remember the name, but it's a two-word Latin phrase, I think. I was sure it was with Ben Gazzara and Deborah Kerr, but I searched both their filmography and couldn't find it. He becomes a...
