Spin cycle leaves very wet clothes
Spin cycle:
Normal wash cycle works, but the spin cycle leaves the clothes wet, the agaitor does not spin in a positive direction in the spin cycle, with the lid open, I can reach in and stop the agaitor in the spin cycle, it is a clutch motor driven . The is a pile of black crud under the washer on the floor, is the isolation coupling coupliing bad, or the brake shoes in the agaitor bad? |

RE: kenmore 70 series model 110.20712990 Type 111 top load washer. Won't spin. Humming noise and a little burning/hot smell when supposed to be spinning. Bypassing the lid switch did not correct the problem. Changed out the motor coupling with no luck... still a humming noise but no smell.
Our kenmore 90 series dryer leaves clothes damp. It is heating OK and we took it apart and there are no clogs on the entire air-flow. But on both timed & auto sensor dry it leaves clothes damp.
I have a GE washer, (about 5 years old). The washer goes through the wash and rinse cycles fine. When it gets to the spin cycle, it stops. I can override and manually place the machine on spin. How can I fix this problem so the cycle runs through completely. Thank You
