    Is this an antique piece?
My grandfather gave me a lighter that is sterling silver has a gold dinosaur on it. I am not sure what language is used on the pamphlet, but it says S.T. Dupont; Briquets D'Orfevrerie, Au Gaz Butane; It was issued on January 10, 1966; and says Le briquet portant le numero is 4751BB. Can anyone help or tell me how to find out if it is an antique.

    Thanks.

That would be french. Usually an item has to be at least 100 years old to be considered antique.
