    Kenmore dishwasher 665-1646
I need to replace the heater element. I received the electric component with the heater element. Can anyone provide me with instructions for replacing both parts? I have read that once I remove the heater element it cannot be placed back in the dishwasher and must be replaced. Thank you.

Best I can do is this:

Here is a partial number match for your dishwasher. Pring the diagrams out along with the parts list and go from there.
