Am I entitled to disability allowance?
Hi I'm an insulin dependent diabetic, single parent to 4 children I work 16 hours a week and was wondering if I am entitled to any disability allowance as I have read that I am classed as having a disability,I am receiving child benefit, working tax credits and child tax credits as well as some council tax and rent benefits,so am I entitled to disability allowance at all?

If your doctor says you can not work 4o hours a week because of your medical problem(s).
You have to start with your doctor because they go by your medical record and the doctors determination. Then they can have you evaluated by one of their doctors.
If you lose after that you have to keep appealing it until you win, but without your doctors say so you don't have a case.

Council tax makes me think you are not in the US - where are you?

Are you working only 16 hours due to health reasons?
