    Multiplaces internet
    I build a hous with multiplaces internet jacks for desktop computers. I run all my cables to one location. My questions is can I use a wirless router to connect wireless laptops with my desktop computers.

    Yes, you can interconnect wired and wireless systems using a WAP (wireless access point). A wireless router will usually act as a WAP, WAN (wide area network) router with NAT/PAT (network address translation/port address translation) and a LAN (local area network) switch allowing all locally connected devices, both wired and wireless, to communicate in a private network (10.0.0.0–10.255.255.255, 172.16.0.0–172.31.255.255 or 192.168.0.0–192.168.255.255) with a shared WAN Internet connection through your ISP (Internet service provider).
