How much will I have to pay?
I live in Florida and have one child. If I have joint physical and joint leagal custody how much can I expect to pay if I get divorced. I bring home about 4,000 a month and my wife finally got a job but she only brings home about 1,000 a month. I would give my kid ALL my money if he needed it he's only 3 , but I know if my wife gets it he will never se a penny. Her last husband gave her money every month and I had to almost beg her to spend it on him instead of getting her nails done and shoes!! I know every case is a little different I just want to see if it really is cheaper to keep her!!

    Thanks

    Florida uses a calculator - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family...ay-393478.html.

You cannot control how she spends the child support.

I personally find the "cheaper to keep her" statement chilling when there's a child involved.

Of course it's cheaper to keep her! I won't presume to tell you what to do where your marriage is concerned, but as far as finances go, divorces are very expensive, not just where lawyer fees are concerned during the actual process but after the fact also and the financial ramifications last many years.
