Salon hair die too dark and wants to spead up the prosess how
First this summer I gave myself highlights at home. They turned out much brighter and brassier then I had ever expected. So I went to the salon to have them fix it. But instead of bringing it back to my original color its now much darker than ever before (i.e. my hair was a medium brown) now its very dark with black tints. The stylist told me she had to do this to completely cover the highlights but its wayy too dark for me. The hair die is semi permanent, but is there anyway to speed up the proses ? I have heard of people using Prell shampoo and dish soap, but does that really work? I just really don't like it at all and need to speed it up or fade the die a bit, its just too harsh and doesn't look like me.

    HELP PLEASE!

Hi, I am a hairstylist with 3 years under my belt. The dish soap is suppose to work but not always. What you can use is a clarifing shampoo. And what that would do is kind of strip at the color. Clarifing is used to remove clorene out of swimmers hair, it thik if its strong enoungh for that it help you a little.

The only other thing you can may be do go to another salon and tell them what happen but make sure to tell them not to re-color it. What might be done is some solution might be put on your hair, and you would be put under a dyer.

That's the best I can say to you good luck!
