Removing 15 yr. old Caulk around Glass Shower doors
I need to remove 15 yr. old caulk from where we used to have glass shower doors. The caulk does not come off using a putty knife, or steel wool. Is there some cleaner that will help dissolve the caulk? It is VERY hard. The tub is a fiberglass enclosure.

    Hi Pyattg

With caulking that is extremely... tenatious... I use a glass scraper (see image 1 and 2) and hit the hilt using a rubber mallet. You need to be careful, but this will usually clean even the most stubborn caulking off the tile/grout. Just be sure to wear safety goggles when you do it!
