    Beads come out of softener
I have a water softener with the separate water tank. Beads are coming out of the unit into my water pipes. Why? And what can I do to fix it?

    Hi,
With the limited information provided I would start by checking a few things,
    1. Is the distributor inside the softener cracked?
    2. Is the unit old and just the resin breaking down?
    3. Is it plumbed in the correct way or is it plumbed in backwards?
I have been fixing and installing softeners for over 35 years now and those are the most common reasons for this to happen.
    Good Luck
