    Radiator Leak Fix
I have a toyota camery.Few weeks a ago it start giving leakage from the radiator.I have used two or three different types of stop leak lequid in the radiator buying from the Canadian Tire.Every time it gives a temoray solution. Finally somebody has told me to take the stop leak from GM Dealer. It is powder in the form of Biscuit. You have to crush them before putting in the full radiator.I did the same thing and luckly for the last few days I didn't see any leakage from the radiator.
Now my concern is that when the coolant leaks from the radiator, it didn't suck from the reserve bottle. The reserve bottle remain full. The hose pipe is also okay but the level of reserve bottle remain the same, even if the radiator become close to empty.I didn't figuer out the real reason that why it happened.I have asked one mecahnic who has told me that might be the water Coolant is not properly circulate in the radiator that is why it didn't suck water from the reserve bottle. Is some body can explain the reason why it is going to happened and how I can solve that problem so that in future if by chance the radiator leaks, at least it can take the deficiency from the reserve bottle which is actually meant for
    That purpose.
    Thanks a lot.

If you have a radiator leak, then only true fix is to take the car to a radiator shop and have it fixed properly. Anything else is only temporary and doomed to cause more problems than they cure.

You didn't say what year your Toyota is... but if it has a radiator cap, the vent in it is probably plugged. Replace the radiator cap and the reservoir tank should start working again.

As for your leak, if you're poured that much stop leak in it, and you're not seeing any signs of leakage from the radiator itself, you may have a head gasket leak.

At this point the only way to know for sure is to have the system pressure tested. Oh, and stop pouring in stop leak--you're going to clog up your heater core.
