Repainting basement floor
I'm going to repaint my basement floor, 25 yrs. Ago it was painted with oil based paint, what is the best choice today?
Do I need to use primer? What do I fill the floor cracks with? Do I need to use more than one coat of paint? Thanks, |

I'm thinking of repainting my concrete basement floor. It was painted with oilbase paint 25 years ago and isn't really peeling off, just needs redone due to wear. After cleaning, can I just repaint without using primer? Thank You
My Husband and I would like to redo and organize our garage at the lowest expense we can. We need to "strip" the floor of oil, greese, etc. off the floor and then we were wanting to paint it. We have never done anything like this and need some direction please.

Why is my basement floor sinking
In May when I first turned on my ac I had wet spot on my basement floor that came through my carpet. I had to put a condensate pump on near my furnace and water heater. That seemed to solve the problem until yesterday I noticed that the same spot as before is wet again and also around my furnace....
