    Cartoon about evolution of man with religious and cultural undertones
    Hello all. Hoping someone can help.
    Saw an animated movie on TV almost 15 years ago now and can't for the life of me remember the title.
    About a man who invented the cryogenic chamber and then saved the human race by sending a space ship to a planet far away. Eventually life on the space ship went on as normal for everyone else and he remained in the cryogeninc chamber on and off for generations eventually being seen as god. He had a son who wanted to grow up. They got to the other planet and had to wipe put dinosaurs and all sorts of things. The son helped create the missing link with apes and men. He was merlin. And helped teach jesus to walk on water (ie. Surf)
