    Ceiling Fan with remote
I have a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan that only works with a remote control. The light will not turn off but the fan still works. I don't need the light on during the day, but still want to use the fan. What do I do?

    Does the LED still light?

My guess is the receiver is bad. Hampton Bay's contact information is on our sticky in Electrical and Lighting, contact them for parts.
