In may we got an eviction notice from are apartment build to be out in 24hours. My boyfriend went down to talk to them and they told him they would not talk about it just for us to get out with in that time or we could take it to court. So we left within 24 hours. So we called them to see what we owed and they wanted us to pay 1200 worth of charges . So we have been talking to there collection agency because the said the reason for evicting us was we didn’t pay Mays rent witch we did. So we sent them a copy of the check and they were supposed to send us a copy of what all the charges and how they added up to 1200. But we have not gotten any papers from them. They claim to have sent us 4 coupes through the mail and 2 coupes through are fax. We sent them the money because we r trying to buy a house but if that 1200 went on are credit they would not sell us the house. So we sent it through a money gram so we have that receipt from that. But they have not sent us a receipt saying we paid them and its not going to go on are credit. We want a lawyer because we are going to sue from them giving us 24 hours to move and for the money we gave them witch we did not owe since we paid are rent there was no reason for them to give us a eviction notice or charge us for anything.
