    Tecumseh ohv135 shuts off

    Generator shuts down
    My 7500 watt generator has a 13 hp tecumseh engine. It starts & runs good, but shuts off after about a minute. Fuel pump seems good, inside of carb looks very clean. Good spark & compression.
    Any ideas?? :confused:

    Hi,
    Running for such a brief period sounds like a partially clogged fuel delivery system. Could be a number of things clogged, fuel shutoff or filter, collapsed line, inlet needle's seat, etc.
    Just sounds like it is burning fuel faster than it can arrive.
