    Would this be cheaper?
I want to ask for advise from people who have doen it before before I try it and then find out it IS too expensive.

My mom used to buy stuff from the schwans man all the time. Back in the day it was mostly ice cream and treats and freezer stuff.
    But now they sell EVERYTHING.

Would it be cheaper to go through the schawns man truck instead of grocery shopping? I'm also about to do a 'test' cart on their website to see the price.

I can't even afford them when they have a sale.

    A 12'' pizza is like $8.00
Freschetta 16'' in the grocery store is $6.00

    Half gallon ice cream $5.49
Store price on sale 2 for $6.00

Frozen foods and meat prices almost triple what you can find in the store

Do you have food banks where you live?
Do you have Saves A Lot, Aldi's, GFS, Food 4 Less?

I really don't think it would be cheaper at all. Their prices are higher for convenience reasons too (they deliver).

Here we have Sam's club. They're kin to Walmart. Buy things bulk, separate into serving sized bags, and freeze if at all possible. Meat, vegetables, even cheese and milk. Look for sales. When you go in the store eat all the samples that you can get. Some people go in hungry( big mistake), and come out full. There's savings right there. Just don't go there every night, treating it like an all you can eat buffet(just kidding). In the grocery store, look for things marked down because of expiration date, and freeze "time".

Don't try the truck gig, it's not a good idea. Cook things like stews or soups. They go a long way and you have leftovers, or enough to freeze.

There are multiple sites that offer coupons and free samples. Like dish liquid, laundry detergent, toothpaste, etc.

    OK thanks everyone.
Yeah sams club is great and we have been thinking about it because not only do we get a discount membership (2$ a month and I'm NOT kidding! Lol they take it right from his paychecks) we also get the 10% off our purchases like we do at wallmart. So we will probably do that.

Thanks everyone for all your help you've given me in the last day or so *hugs*
