Kenmore Washer Will Not Spin
Kenmore Elite washer model 110.20097992. All of the cycles seem to work normally except for the spin portion. The wife says it doesn't spin as fast as usual and last night it wouldn't spin at all. I would think that the transmission would either spin or not spin. Any suggestions?

RE: kenmore 70 series model 110.20712990 Type 111 top load washer. Won't spin. Humming noise and a little burning/hot smell when supposed to be spinning. Bypassing the lid switch did not correct the problem. Changed out the motor coupling with no luck... still a humming noise but no smell.
My Kenmore washing machine ceased to go through the rinse and dry cycle.It will agitate but won't spin.This all be.gan after a towel was wrapped up in the agitator.
