Honeywell Ignitor for Pool Heater S8600F ?
Hi, I have a pool heater natural gas with no pilot burner spark. I took the burner out and cleaned the orifice and can see light through it. The spark ignitor looks in good shape but? I can use a long Bic lighter to light the pilot and then the main valve comes on. I was told if I pull the spark wire at the S8600F there should be spark there when trying to light but I see none. DVM reads 126VAC but 0 on DC scale at Spark connector. I have no idea what is the right value. Also, is there a separate wire for sensing the pilot is on at the Pilot Burner? I don't see one. One last note, When I do manually light the pilot burmer/main burner during the water heat-up I have had several times the flame go out and had to re-light which didn't want to go right away. I think the S8600F is bad but I hate to spend $200 and it is something else. Thanks for the advice

I am trying to get the pool heater to kick on. Instead of the heater igniting, I am receiving a fault code of “Open Air Pressure Switch” and the SERVICE LED is light. Is this something that I can easily reset or do I need a technician to come out?
