My Marriage is ripping at the seams
I am depressed and overwhelmed and my husband doesn't seem to care. Me and my husband have been together for 6 years and we have 2 toddlers that are 11 months apart, yet ever since my children were born my husband only helps when its good for him. Ok its not helping but playing. My husband travels for business and he is gone quite a lot and I am a stay at home mom and a ft time student. My husband gets to go vist his family A lot because he gets his plane rides paid for by his company. Yet when he's visiting my husband relaxs and doesn't have to worry about a thing. I haven't seen my family in over a year because he refuses to pay to board our dogs. I have 2 toddlers and our trip to see family is a 14 to 15 hour drive and he expects me if I want to see family to bring my dogs with me. Its hard... plus I haven't had a break since my kids were born. I haven't had a day to go out to lunch with friends or go to a movie... yet he has all the time in the world to do this and he constantly rubs it in my face... I resent him... also when he comes home if the house isn't spotless he degrades me and treats me like . He thinks I'm lazy.. I do housework, take care of my kids, potty train, take care of my 2 dogs, do homework and study and try... TRY to take care of myself... I am 5'5 and 160 lbs because I don't have time to sit down and eat a balanced meal except at dinner and even then its hard. So I am fat and my husband makes it clear all the time that I need to lose weight... during sex I don't feel comfortable taking off my shirt because all my fat is on my belly and he makes fun of my stretch marks and everything... it makes me not sexually attracted to him and he gets angry when we don't have sex. I just don't know how to deal with this issue anymore even after I have told him my feelings he has snide comments to make like he works hard himself and he deserves these breaks (I work just as hard don't I deserve a break too?)

    Please help!

You certainly don't have to put up with abuse the way you describe. Put your foot down my dear and read him the riot act for heavens sake.

He makes fun of you, derides you and you take it !

Get someone in to take care of the kids and get out of the house. But wait a minute, are you studying on line ? A full time student ? Why ?

I sure as heck wouldn't be putting up with this. It sounds like he doesn't respect you at all.

Wonderboard seams [ 7 Answers ]

I've installed wonderboard on the 3 walls of a tub/shower but I'm reading conflicting reports on how to cover the seams between the sheets. Grainite Seams in Bullnose [ 1 Answers ]

I just had Granite kitchen countertops installed. Dark Beige and Black called Desert Armadillo. They have a black seam at the bullnose area where they connected with the top. Is this correct? I complained and the company stated it is that way.
