    Dracaena Fragrans.
    Hello,
So my mom gave me this plant and it looks like a Dracaena Fragrans, problem is, she thought the leaves were dying so she cut them off! And since then it hasn't grown leaves... it has a little coiled up leave that just won't uncoil (maybe the wrong word to use.. ), but anyway anything I can do to make it grow leaves?

A plant without leaves is a really sick plant, emily. Might as well give it a decent burial.

Or just put it off to the side and forget about it for a while, see what happens.;) Sometimes you will be amazed.

You say the leaves had turned brown before they were taken off? Dracaena Fragrans' leaves turn brown if the soil is too moist or too dry... sometimes putting a plant to the side for a little while like Dahlia said it will come back.. Dracaena Fragrans are a medium amount watering plant that doesn't require heavy watering.

Note: Over time, these plants lose lower leaves revealing bare stems. Fragrant, tiny white-yellow flowers in round heads appear in terminal panicles in winter-spring. Flowers are followed by red berries. Flowers and berries rarely appear on indoor plants.

Dying Dracaena deremensis 'Lemon Lime' [ 3 Answers ]

Can you try to help me figure out what I did wrong with this plant? It was not in direct sunlight and I don't think I over watered it. All of a sudden it had these dry brown spots all over it. Maybe I under watered it. The new growth coming in looks very healthy. Is there any way to save this? If I...
