How can I shorten the length of the light cord on a Hampton Bay track system ? There is a tube that plugs into the track that has a serries of screws but there is also a screw at the light base also.

Installed fan 3-4 months ago and have had no trouble until past week when light on fan started flashing intermittently. Fan has remote and is wired directly to power source -- no switch. Checked all connections, but cannot figure out why light is flashing. Any help is much appreciated!

I have a Hampton Bay remote that I have transferred to anouther fan after being in the first fan for two years. The remote worked great in the first fan, it does not work as well in the second.
