    Background check
    I was wondering... is there an online site to where you can get a free background check on someone else?

    I am renting a room to someone that I do not know to well and wanted to know if I could get just a basic background check for free. I just want to make sure there isn't anything SERIOUS like abuse, rape, robbery, etc. type of charges.

    You can check if he is a registered sex offender here but you would have to put his last address in most likely

    Most sites will charge a 9.95 fee for a single search on someone or like 30.00 for a yr of unlimited searches
