    Caulk over grout?
I read some of the info regarding caulk vs grout. I had my tiled shower grout cleaned about 2 years ago. Mold and mildew have made their home in what I thougt was the grout between the tiled floor and the tiled wall of the shower. I removed what I thought was grout but I think it was actually silicone caulk laid over the grout. I am down to the grout now which is very clean looking and white. My question: should I just seal the grout and go with that or relay the silicone? I'm confused.

Remove grout 1/8'' below surface and use kitchen and bathroom chaulking to seal. This chaulk is mildew resistant.

Where tiles walls meet the floor you must caulk not grount. Dap makes a bathroom caulk with a mildewcide built into it.
