Rights of third party not on rental agreement
I moved into a house my boyfriend has rented for 4 years about a year ago. He has a verbal agreement with the landlord who has sued him for eviction and damages. I went to court with him and signed a page to say I would leave as well. I had no lease agreement and never met the landlord, I just lived there while the agreement was with him. Do they have the right to include me in the suit or can I assume no liability since the lease was with him? What should I do?

No you would not be responsible for damages.
The landlord goes after the boyfriend and then your boyfriend can go after you for your share if he wanted to.
If the damages are under the amount of his security deposit then that should cover it.

The landlord has to give him an itemized list of damages and what it cost to repair.
