    Hair worries? PrettyLady help!
    Hi to anyone out there!

Around May, June this year I attempted to dye my previously dyed hair ( a wonderful golden colour which I am now kicking myself for ruining!) a mid-golden brown in the hopes of reaching my natural hair colour. As you can tell not much good came of it! It turned a very dark brown that I hated so I took steps to try and correct it. I washed my hair immedietly with detergent after a frantic call to my hairdresser. It still didn't seem to have helped much so I then used a product caller MYHD colour remover on it about a few weeks later.

It did lighten my hair a bit but still no as much as I wanted and it left brassy red tones throughout my hair. Now my hair ( which is pretty long as I am trying to achieve waist length) is a very rich colour and looks horrible with my skin! It's a very rich reddy brown that looks a bit golden in artificial light. ( and as my skin is very pale and pinky I look constantly flushed and an weird)

I have given up on getting back to my original colour but I really want to get rid of these red tones in my hair! Im only 18 and don't have a job at the moment and as you can guess I am broke! And will gladly try anything. My mother is not keen to help me after the last debacle. ( which I think is rude since she was the one to convince me to dye my hair darker in the first place!) What can I do? Should I get highlights? Or foils? I can save but it will take a while! I just really want to fix my hair and be able to leave it!

Thank you to anyone who is willing to listen to my tyrade and help!

You will need to use an ash color with a green-base hair to neutralize to red tones in your hair. If you want to go back to your original color, please consider going to the salon. A hairstylist can do a corrective color and try to match your original shade as close as possible.
