    I have a philips 250W metal halide lamp, a philips 25 micro farad capacitor and a philips ballast for metal halide. How do I wired the three units?

    Ah...

    There is a wiring diagram right on the ballast. It might be hard to follow if you are not familiar with wiring, but it is there.

    I have followed the wiring diagram. The problem was the lamp did not light. The voltage across the lamp is 480V, but my lamp and ballast is 240V. And when I connect the capacitor in series with the lamp, the voltage was 240V but there is no current, so the lamp still did not light. Do you have any solution regarding my problem? Thanks...
