    Write Protection Removal
My mom has a mp3 player with the name slick on it... I do not know how to add songs to it at all. I've never had an mp3 player. I try to drag and drop a song into the file, and it says something about its write protected. How do I remove that? A friend told me to format the mp3 player, which I tried to do, and it popped up with this box that says it is write protected, which is what I'm trying to take off! Any help?

How is the mp3 connected to the computer?

I try to drag and drop a song into the file
    Do you mean the player?

Maybe the file you are trying to copy to the mp3 is write protected?

Where is the file that you are trying to copy to the player?
-Is it a file on your hard drive or a file on a disc or CD

Try and add as much info as you can think of, everything helps
