    Xl 80 blower noise
I was trouble shooting a xl 80 Trane unit when I heard the blower motor make a noise that I have never heard before. At start up the blower sounded like it would try to ramp up several times like a boat motor. The noise is intermitant so finding what makes it is difficult. What could it be?

    Dirty air filter?

Or it could be a bad blower motor capacitor.
