    Furnace and AC Replacement
    Hello All -

I have a 16 year old Lenox Central Air unit and Furnace. This year the A/C unit failed and would cost approximatley $600 to repair. I am evaluating a complete system replacement (Furnace and AC). I am looking to replace with mid range Amana units. My home is 1580 sqft. I am going to contract with a professional to handle the installation, but was curious what I should expect to pay in terms a price range for this? Any one that could offer a ballpark so I can gauge expectation that would be appreciated. I also understand that with the rebates being offered by the government that I would be able to recoup a good deal of the cost of one of the units?

    Thanks for any insights.

Get more than one estimate and three is a good number. Cost? It will be different all over the USA. I have no idea what they will charge in your area
