    S traps and slow draining
Hi... my husband and I recently installed a new countertop, new sink and new cabinets. We had to replace all the old plumbing due to the new sink being only 1 basin as opposed to the old one having 2. When we tested out the drain for leaks, of course, it leaked in the section of the s-trap. It also was slow to drain... maybe this was due to covering up the small pipe that leads to the dishwasher? But if not, the water came out of that because we don't have it hooked up yet. This plumbing stuff is all very confusing. Can someone please tell me what I should do to get this problem, if it is a problem, fixed?

Did it drain OK with the old set up? Was the dishwasher installed back then? Will there be another DW installed? Let me know. Tom
