    Condenser installation
I just installed a new goodman 4 ton condensing unit and when the compressor starts about 5 seconds the compressor starts making a loud noise and shakes the condensing unit really bad for about 5 to 10 seconds and then starts running fine. What could be the problem.:)

The person who installed the unit has no idea what they are doing. If it continues to run like you say you will destroy the compressor in short order. I suggest you contact a qualified contractor with the proper certification to do a on site survey of the situation and make the corrective steps before more damage is done.

If you have the license to handle the refrigerant then you took the test. If you passed the test then you already know what the problem is. We all enjoy helping people on this board but we do not participate in illegal activities.
