Kenmore washer will not fill with water
Hello,
I have an older Kenmore 80 model no 110.82683810 top load washer. The problem is: I cannot get it to fill with water. I have, at this point, replaced the timer and the water inlet valve. This has not resolved the issue. I have checked the water level switch and it works fine. I can use all cycles, if I manually fill the tub with water and the water level switch works fine with all levels working when filling. All wash, rinse and spin cycles will work as long as I manually fill the tub with water. Water from tap valve is fine. Hoses are clear. Inlet valve is new. But, no water. What other causes could this be? I would appreciate any help or advice on this matter. Thanks |

Kenmore Elite washer is only a couple of years old and will not call for the water to fill. If I put the temperature control on hot, then it will fill with hot water.

Help! My kenmore washer won't fill with water during the wash cycle, but the rinse and spin cycle seems to be working fine. When I turn the knob to "wash" nothing happens. Even my handy man father was stumped on this one!! Can anyone help?
