    Chances of visa rejection?
    My husband is on EAD.I am in my home country.Can I apply for a B1 Or F1 ? What are the chances of rejection of visa.

    B-1 is a the business visitor visa, typically for entry to attend meetings, seminars, sign contracts, etc. If you show these, and that you intend to return to your home country, you should be issued the B-1 visa.

    The F-1 student visa requires an unabandoned foreign residence and the subjective intent to return. With a husband in the US as an applicant for permanent residence, not likely to be able to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent under 214(b).
