    Brown turkey in roaster oven?
I would like to know if you can brown a turkey in the oven first & then put it in the roaster since the roaster will not brown it. And if so, how?:o

I think it's better to do it after. If my turkey hasn't browned before I take it out I usually take the lid or tin foil off the roaster and let it brown that way.

I think if you did it before, it would be brown, but the skin would be all soft and that might be icky.
