    Trailer I saw recently
I recently saw a trailer for an up coming movie when I went to go see Harry Potter. I don't remember what movie it was for, and it is driving me nuts. It was one of those trailers that doesn't actually show any footage from the film. It was some obscure graphics that ended with the title of the film and a release date, but it was extremely apparent what film it was for throughout the very short preview.

I think the color red was prominent during the trailer, and I'm certain that it was for a movie reimagining of a T.V. show from the 80s. My hopes are that someone else here has seen the trailer recently and has a better memory than mine (It was also a very late showing of the movie, so I was mostly asleep on the way home). If anyone can offer any idea of what film it was, it is driving me nuts.

    Thank you.

Very hard to answer this question as you have very little info. But... you said the trailer came on before the latest Harry Potter movie? Harry Potter is made by Warner Bros (WB) and usually movie trailers are shown by the same studio that makes the feature film. It's a good bet that the trailer you saw was a WB movie. Now, trailers are also targeted to a certain audience (Harry Potter fans,) so the trailer would have to appeal to those types of fans. That narrows it down a bit. If I had to guess, I would say it was either a trailer for New Moon or for Where The Wild Things Are. But that's only a guess.

However, here is a list of all WB movies coming out within the next 3 years.

I know it wasn't Tron, New Moon, or Where the Wild Things Are. Although I have seen all three previews, and am really looking forward to Tron and Wild Things.

Looking over that list, I wonder if it wasn't Green Lantern or Clash of the Titans. Still, neither of those hit my gut in the right place. I guess I need to start bringing a notepad to the movie theater with me... lol

YouTube - Inglourious Basterds - Official Trailer [HD]

Or a film called "GI Joe"

However, u said about the main colour being red so it might be a new film coming out called "The Flash" or "Sin City 2" or maybe "dragonball"

The previews in movie theaters are sometimes trailers that aren't on TV yet. You'll probably see the trailer on TV soon though.
