Freezing cold water in tub and shower. No hot water at all!
Hi. We recently have stopped having all hot water in our tub and shower. We have one of those on handle faucets that turn left and right for hot and cold water. My husband took off the faucet, cleaned out a whole bunch of crud, replaced some part and now the water doesn't even get lukewarm. Before it would at least get lukewarm to shower, now it is just freezing! I was wondering if it was possible that he didn't connect something correctly and is there something that he may have missed. Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

We need the brand name and age of the tub valve. Tell me more about this "crud" hubby removed. What color was it? Hard or soft? Do you flush your water heater out on a regular maintenance schedule? Back to you, Tom
