Favourite Quotes
Been looking at some quotes lately, and thought it would be interesting to for everyone to post their favourite quotes.
Whether it's a famous quote, something someone said on these forums, or just anything that someone said that you reckon is quotable, feel free to post/discuss them here.
Here's some of my favourite quotes:
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man. -Jack Handey
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."-Jack Handey
Upon spotting a plane flying overhead while visiting Old Bethpage Village Restoration for an old fashioned 1864 baseball game)What, ho! What is that demonry! Some sort of iron bird! Everyone flee! -Conan O'brien
A true friend stabs you in the front-att. To Oscar Wilde (This is my favourite quote ever)
In the beginning the universe was created. This made a lot of people angry and has been widely regarded as a "bad move". - (The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe)-Douglas Adams
Life is about learning; when you stop learning, you die.-Tom Clancy

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Steve Jobs

Finally, brethren, whatever is true,
Whatever is honorable, whatever is right,
Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
Whatever is of good repute,
If there is any excellence and
If anything worthy of praise,
Dwell on these things.
