Can my wife evict her brother?
My wife owns my mother-in-laws house. She lives with us in our house. My wife's brother is currently living in my mother-in-laws house because his wife kicked him out of their house. We need to place my mother-in-law into a nursing home because we can no longer give her the proper care in our home. My wife wants to rent out the house so she can help pay for the nursing care for her mother. Without her brother leaving the residence, it will be extremely difficult to pay for the proper nursing care my mother-in-law needs. How can my wife legally remove her brother from the house?

    First start using better terms,

If it is your "mother in law home" then the mother in law owns it,

If it is your home, then it is a second home that your mother in law used to own.

But if your wife is the legal owner, deed transferred to her name, and the brother is not on the deed at all, yes she can evict him
