    Win instal
    Hi all,
Trying to install Windows has been a nightmare.. CD ROM not found or recognised (or not ready to read). Error reading floppy. Bios settings can't be changed because they are frozen. The latest has been this "The following file is missing or corrupted-- windows\command\com". Would appreciate good advice.
    Cheers,

    Rida

I would first need to know what version of windows you are using. Depending on the version, you can reinstall windows without the use of a windows CD or CD ROM. If you are running windows 98 or windows ME, then you typically don't need a windows CD to reinstall. You just have to reinstall from the .cab folder on the hard drive.

If you need help with this, let me know.
