Stuck on a Symmons Temptrol Cartridge Replacement
    Hello,

I have a 10 year old plus Symmons temptrol shower/bath unit. I have removed the handle and the face plate. Now I'm down to the part number shown in the image below part # T-11 . It won't budge. I'm curious if I should crank on this and it will turn or pull it straight out. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Rich

    Hi Rich...

Part # T-11 will spin out counterclockwise. The trick here is to take the handle and open the valve to about 1/2 way before attempting to unistall part #T-11... ;)

Open the valve 1/2 way and then crank on that baby... it'll come loose!

Let me know how you make out...

Thanks massplumber2008! I put all my weight on it and it broke loose. I'm now good to go.

    Thanks again,

Glad to help! Be sure to keep the valve opened about 1/2 way when reinstalling all!
