Being sued by Capital one tried to negotiate hearing this week
How do I handle this? I've been trying to negotiate with the collection firm that represents Capital One. Each time I'm told we have an agreement they either change the terms or dodge the calls. Now there is a hearing this week. I'm out of options and I don't know what to do.

I lost my job. That's how I got in this mess to start with. I start a new job in 3 weeks making very little but at least it's a job.

Any suggestions onhow to handle the court date?

Go to court explain your situation and they very likely will give you a lower amount than Capital One has offered you so far.
