    Puberty Growth
I am 17 years old. All my life I slowly grew. Since I can remember I grew a whole shoe size the next year. But I was always short. When I hit around 13 or 14 probably later, I grew a little bit. My penis my have gotten larger but not a crazy difference. I grew some pubic hair, but just enough to cover my penis region no access grew around. Then I slowly started growing in other areas. Like I grew a little extra leg hair and some armpit hair. Then I stopped for a while. Then when I was 16 I grew a little mustache, little more than peach fuzz. Then after a while I grew some foot hair and hand hair, but very little. Now I grew very little chin hairs that grow up to half a centimeter. I also have butt hairs and more foot hair. Oh yeah, I started working when I was 16 and people thought I was 12. They still do, just now it's sometimes 13 or 14 because of the little facial hair.

My confidence is at a low. I'm starting to think girls won't give me a chance cause they're too embarrassed to be with someone that looks so young. Also if I ever made a move, that they would make a move back and grab for my penis and be disappointed and leave me because of it or it make me highly embarrassed. I'm too scared of what they will say or do.

I don't know what to do. All I want to know if this is normal or not and how I should deal with it.

The first boy I ever messed around with, at the time, was pretty not well endowed. But hid girlfriend told me about 4 years later that from the time they started dating u to that present time he had grown int himself by about 3 more inches. Making him pretty well endowed.

NO ONE is happy with their body at your age. When I was 17 I had stellar boobs and this little tiny roll of fat on the top part of my belly that drove me INSANE. Now I look back at those pics and laugh because I remember being self conscious, but I was very not bad looking.

Generally your body reached it's peak of growth around age 23. But there are so many things you can do to cause changes in your body it's hard to say that in a general way. People get more hairy as they get older. Old men sprout hair out of their ears. Growth isn't the same thing as development. You can develop muscles later on, you can lose or gain weight. Some people get a little taller.

I understand why you feel this way, but you need to understand that it's normal and natural as well. If a girl doesn't like you because you look younger, that still has no bearing on your mental maturity level. And trust me honey, speaking as a girl, if you are OK with yourself, and confident, that is WAY more attractive. It's also way more interesting over time.

Of course you are normal, don't stress about that. How do you deal with it? Imagine looking 30 when you are 45. Now laugh because everyone will envy you.

Oh honey, it sounds like you're a perfectly normal guy. Don't worrie about what those shallow girls think of you simply because your not done growing.

You have PLENTY of time to grow.

Please talk to your parents or school counselor about how your feeling. It really can help.

My husband is 26 and he still can barely grow a mustache! He also cannot grow a full beard (thank god). Have you ever seen Joe Dirt? His beard and sideburns are exactly like that! No joke!

When I was around your age, I knew some guys who were very "manly" looking, but they were the exception more than the rule. I also knew guys who I didn't see over the summer and when school started back up it was like WOW, they really grew. So you never know, you'll probably wake up one morning and be taller and all that! I think you're perfectly normal and you shouldn't worry about what other people think of you (it's hard, I know, but try at least! )

I was pretty awkward in HS myself, trust me you get over it fast once you get to college or out in the real world!

You're fine. Tell yourself that you're handsome and any girl would be crazy to not want to go out with you! I personally think you're an awesome guy who isn't afraid to say what's on your mind!

Oh, and your post is so well written, you are an excellent at writing and spelling compared to a lot of your peers! Being smart is waaaay better than being hairy any day! Rock on!
