    Looking for Series Title
    Hi.

    I have read a couple of books in the series, but cannot remember the name.

    A civil war company of soldiers is on a ship, they are caught ina storm, and then transported to another time/place. They are then set upon and used as some food by the nomadic monsters on the planet.

    The company tries to build the industry of the locals so that they are not eaten etc.

    Anyone?
